Charlie Sheen and his turn and the Chopping Block
Posted by Danielle on Apr 10, 2011
Charlie sheen was a budding young star when he started in show business and was one of the biggest names all over for sometime. Fame came and went, and with his comedy stint on national TV as his only gig nowadays, he even manages to lose it, ending up in a word war with the company that employs him as well as many who used to support him.
It may be that stars find it very hard to deal with age and the fame they lose as they do. Fame comes and goes as many aged stars know, but they will always be in the spotlight as many have found the hard way. May they maintain their place on the right side of the law, may they be in gossip columns or not they will always be under scrutiny. Sometimes for such trivial things we do take fore granted in out everyday lives. Trivial to most of us but for these stars of Hollywood, it never is…..
Mel Gibson’s Fall from Grace
Posted by Danielle on Feb 10, 2011
Mel Gibson used to be a star of character, playing some of the most difficult roles in film not many would dare to take to film. But with genius comes a sudden fall, the most publicized affair and abuse he did to his ex-wife that subsequently had him in divorce court and a lot of airtime.
He’s not the first to suffer this fate, for many a star that have graced Hollywood have shared his fate. Divorce and violence seems like a marriage that most starts get into. Like their film escapades, it becomes reality they may not even know the difference between the two anymore.

Lowe Brought Low

Did he or didn’t he?
Rob Lowe did a preemptive strike against his ex-nanny, Laura Boyce, by suing her in Los Angeles Superior Court. He claimed that his babysitter violated strict confidentiality agreement and is spreading “malicious lies” about his family.
On the Huffington Post, the 80’s heartthrob wrote that the defendant, along with another nanny and chef) were planning to blackmail him into paying $1.5 million or the woman will be accusing him and his wife of a vicious laundry list of false terribles.
Lowe felt betrayed. “My family is devastated at this betrayal; this woman worked in our home and traveled with us off and on for seven years, without complaint.”
The Full Harry

Daniel Radcliffe, or better yet: Harry Puffer, must’ve sent Harry Potter’s fans look at him twice after he dressed up in his birthday suit in last year’s Equus. Now that he’s 18, he’ll be showing off his acting skills and every part of his naked body in the Broadway revival of the said
Previews begin on Sept. 25 and opening night on Sept. 25 at the Broadhurst Theatre. Radcliffe seems to be nervous and excited to don (or un-don) the role again. “It will be amazing,” he told Reuters. “But I will be terrified because I was talking to [co-star] Richard Griffiths about playing
Ghost in Spielberg’s Shell

We didn’t know Steven Speilberg was such an anime lover.
The director fought off Universal and Sony in aquiring the rights for the Japanese manga, “Ghost in a Shell.” His company, Dreamworks, is planning to turn this scifi-philo-thriller animation into a 3-D live-action feature.
So what is it about? The story is about a cyborg member of a Japanese National Public Safety Commission covert ops group that handles tech-related crimes. The series was created by Masamune Shirow and was first published in manga form in 1989. Since then it’s gone wild on nearly all media: two more manga novels, three anime film adaptations, an anime TV series, and three video games.
“ ’Ghost in the Shell’ is one of my favorite stories,” Spielberg said. “It’s a genre that has arrived, and we enthusiastically welcome it to DreamWorks.”
Heather Mills Wins $48 Mil

Ex-model, turned wannabe-attorney, Heather Mills, just won a divorce case against ex-Beatle and ex-hubby, Sir Paul McCartney. Not only did she defend herself well, she was also able to get $48 Million out of it as well.
She wants this public debacle private. As of writing, she has requested that the judge’s ruling to be kept under wraps for her and her child’s security and privacy. We’ll see tomorrow if the judge complies. While we can understand her fear that the media might have a field day for weeks over this, we hope that the judge will have it sent out to the public so we will all be enlightened on how she did inside the closed courtroom.
Star Wars Episode 2.5
Posted by Robert on Jul 10, 2010
On August 2008, expect long lines going around the block towards the nearest theater: it’s the new Star Wars movie. Star Wars: The Clone Wars, won’t be a live-action movie, rather it will be purely CGI. This may or may not disappoint fans; we’ll see on the opening week how they’ll react. The setting will be on the events between Episodes II and III.
After the movie comes the TV show. It’s going to have the same title and probably the same graphics. Cartoon Network will carry the show as it did the last Star Wars animation episodes. No expected date yet, most likely it will be shown after the movie has run its course around the world.
Dancing, Defending, and Judging?

After performing in front of judges in Dancing With The Stars, she’s going to be on the other side for a change. Heather Mills is reported to be a judge for the upcoming Miss USA Pageant.
It doesn’t hurt to know that she’s just recently won a divorce from Sir Paul McCartney: winning $48.6 Million. Now she’s getting a spot as a judge in one of the more prestigious contest out there. The contestants had better polish up on how they respond to difficult questions, as this lady was able to defend herself in court: yes folks—no lawyer around.
What will she do next?
Radcliffe: The New Lindsay Lohan?
Posted by Robert on May 10, 2010
Ever imagine Harry Potter smoking cigars? Yep, it’s happened, stress has finally built up in the young actor, Daniel Radcliffe: he’s decided to smoke cigarettes. Not just once or twice, but reportedly 20 sticks-a day! He’s been doing it so much that people around him now calls him, Harry Puffer.
Co-actors and friends alike have been warning him about the dangers of smoking, but he just won’t listen. Sources say that he kept on “sparking up” about one scene where he had to a difficult stunt.
Hopefully, he won’t be the male Lindsay Lohan, as he has been going out late with co-stars Kevin Spacey and Stephen Fry.
